Single-use rocking bioreactor assemblies

Rocking Bioreactor Bags

Low-shear cultivation bags that use platform rocking to create waves for circulation and gas transfer.

Sensor performance, retention area and permitted rocking settings require confirmation with the selected platform and process

Closed, flexible cultivation driven by platform rocking.

Rocking bioreactor bags support seed expansion, development and intensified small-scale processing in a closed culture chamber. Supplied interfaces are selected according to the required control level.

System 01 · Wave-based cultivation

Circulation without a rotating impeller

Platform rocking creates a moving liquid surface that supports mixing and gas exchange without an internal rotating impeller.

  • Closed, flexible culture chamber
  • Wave-driven circulation and gas transfer
  • Low-shear cultivation for sensitive cells

Mixing approach Platform-generated waves

System 02 · Integrated interfaces

Functions matched to the control level

Air filters, feed and harvest lines, sampling and process interfaces are supplied according to the selected configuration.

  • Basic bags for routine cultivation
  • Sensor-ready bags with optical pH and DO spots
  • Perfusion-ready bags with internal retention membrane

Configuration range Basic through perfusion-ready

Configuration and process selection

Select the control level for the cultivation strategy.

Choose basic, sensor-ready or perfusion-ready operation according to the required monitoring, process lines and retention functions.
