Concentrate and exchange buffer in a compact centrifugal workflow.

Centrifugal filter devices combine a membrane insert with a filtrate receiver. Centrifugal force drives solvent and species below the effective membrane cut-off into the receiver while the target macromolecule remains in the retentate chamber. The format supports rapid concentration without a separate pump or pressure vessel.

Device selection should consider starting volume, desired final volume, target molecular size, membrane chemistry, protein binding, rotor type, maximum centrifugal force and recovery method. RC and PES cover common laboratory concentration duties, but not every volume and MWCO combination is available.
